There is nothing anyone has to do, or needs to do, or can do … other than to allow that movement of Grace to flow as it will, and to remind ourselves that everything comes wrapped in Grace. And the Grace that we have not allowed ourselves to feel, we can now allow it to flow.

To allow ourselves to know that, from the tops of our heads to the tips of our toes, everything about us is known by the Divine—why is this such a mystery to us? Why is it such a mystery, because the deepest truth that abides in the manifest world is that everything is the unmanifest becoming us, becoming every “us” in the universe? There is nothing separate. Our hearts long to know that freedom to understand—waking, sleeping—that we are known, that we are loved, that we are called, that we are held. And then we can know in return.
This is a natural process. There is nothing anyone has to do, or needs to do, or can do, to make it happen—other than to allow that movement of Grace to flow as it will, and to remind ourselves that everything comes wrapped in Grace. And the Grace that we have not allowed ourselves to feel, we can now allow it to flow to those injuries with the softening and healing nature that Grace is.
This happens easily and naturally.
As you sit here now, listening to the sound of my voice, you can begin to allow yourself to feel a crown of Grace on your head, placed there by the most loving mother you could possibly imagine. Whatever that crown in your own imagination would look like, you begin to feel it, placed so lovingly on the top of your head.
This crown of Grace begins to release that Grace, allowing it to just flow over your forehead, feeling it over your eyes, your ears, cheeks, nose, mouth, chin, down into your neck, and in the back; feeling it just flow down the back of your skull, all the way down to any of those tension points in your neck, and then move again down both shoulders; feeling it flow down both arms, upper arms, elbows, creases of your elbows, lower arms, wrists, hands, and fingertips, allowing that soothing to rest any of those parts of your body that right now need a little more attention.
You can move back up and let that Grace begin to flow down your upper torso, in the front, feeling it move down over your breasts, feeling it moving through your lungs. Let it move into all your internal organs, your heart, your tummy, and the back, feeling it in your upper back, releasing any tension between your shoulder blades; moving on down to the small of your back, releasing any tension, and then moving again down your lower torso, from your waist, front and back, all the way down to your hip joints, and sinking easily and naturally within you, allowing every muscle, nerve, and fiber to begin to do its perfect work.
This blanket of Grace continues again; continues from your hip joints, moving down both upper legs, front and back, sinking deeply into every muscle, nerve and fiber; moving into your knees, creases of your knees, down both lower legs; feeling it in your calves and around the tops, and then in your ankles, heels, tops of your feet, arches of your feet, down into your toes.
And sitting here or lying here right now, from the top of your head to the tip of your toes, Grace covers you entirely.
And so we sit in thanksgiving for that blessing that is ours, waking, sleeping; for the knowledge that we are more than our bodies and our stories; the knowledge that our essential True Self, the quiet space within each of us, exists in unruffled stillness. The thing which we are searching for is already there.
And so be it.
